About Me
Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a weaver, nail artist, and rather funny. I graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textiles from Kent State University. I am predominantly a weaver, but I also crochet, felt, and do hand-dye work.
I live in Columbus, Ohio where my loom, Lois, and I continue to create original pieces together. My work is inspired by chronic illness, music, and gay stuff. In both textiles and nails, I am inspired by and utilize Japanese art techniques!
My shop is currently on a hiatus, but I am always happy to receive any email inquiries about commissions and pieces I have available!
My current work focuses on wall-hangings, home textiles, and crochet. In pursuit of sustainability, I seek up-cycled and thrifted materials as a significant part of my practice. Beyond found materials, I use mostly natural fibers like linen, cotton, and wool.
Check out my portfolio to see my full body of work and/or send me an email to connect!
Lois :-)
